Concession Season Ticket

Anyone know how strict the strict the club are in allowing access on a match day using a concession season ticket?
Website says you can upgrade but not sure will receive the re-issued ticket in time for Friday.
So essentially is it worth the risk? Are there ticket operatives on the turnstile or just a case of using the card to get through?
Would appreciate any suggestions.

Well done, Jimmy! No argument about your upgraded adult status now.
Definitely something wrong with their system but it's about time we punters got something back. But at least they've reduced the upgrade prices for Spurs now.

I upgraded my boys ticket this morning, but needed to use a reference number for someone with purchase history. Luckily, my mate who is going is on the season ticket waiting list, so I was able to use that, but they said he will need to bring his ID, as they are going to be checking the upgraded tickets to make sure they correspond to the person that is using it! I think this is bolloxs, as they wont have time to check everyone, but i still think extra checks will be in place for the game.

I'd go with it and plead ignorance if it doesn't work.
Maybe just tip up a bit early and be prepared to queue at the ticket office in time to 'properly' upgrade if it goes tits?

They seem to be offering upgrades for 20 quid for this game on the official site.

Not sure, used the ticket forward option by initially logging in on the ST reference and then found my details on using my non membership ref. Have printed the eticket which states my name, client reference, price £0.00 and ageband Adult.

You're kidding!
How did you manage that? Spurs is a Category 1 PL match and the adult upgrade charge should be at least £41, depending on your ST price band...

I would say you would be ejected but after all the dross we have had to put up with this season nobody!s season ticket will be cancelled

The main problem is that the turnstile light flashes a very prominent yellow for kid's or over 65's, instead of green for adult.
You can try it, and you may even get away with it a few times if you know that a steward isn't watching you. However there is supposed to be at least one steward on the other side watching the coloured lights above the turnstiles which shows what kind of ticket has been used to gain entry.
But if you're caught, you'll be immediately ejected and will almost certainly have your ST confiscated and cancelled.
The upgrade should be noted on your access card if you do it online or you can ask the ticket office to let you have a paper ticket if you get there a bit early.

But surely it's not reissued you just phone the ticket office and they upgrade the season ticket from their end ,no?
